All groups have been preparing for Travel Training in the classroom during October, prior to them attending travel training in November and learners had to plan their own journey using online tools.

The learners have been deciphering the information on public transport timetables, paper and online tickets and platform signage. The exercise has tested their ability to read a twenty-four-hour clock and understand what to do if they miss their bus or train. All groups have been learning about safe space schemes in town centres in case of emergencies and working through “What if” scenarios when approached by strangers.
