The purpose of the Multi-Skills qualification is to provide learners with the underpinning skills and knowledge required to progress into further study in the building and construction industries and ultimately, to work in these or other related sectors.
Qualifications: OCN LR Progression (Entry Level up to Level 2) – Progression qualifications provided a range of learning opportunities at Foundation level, that enable students to follow a programme tailored to their learning needs, whilst at the same time achieving a nationally recognised qualification. They incorporate a large range of 300 units that can be combined in many different ways to produce learning pathways that meet your different learner needs and reflect their particular interests and aspirations.
Running alongside this qualification and only as part of a learner’s full time Study Programme, students will work towards their CSCS Card.

The OCNLR Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment fulfils the mandatory training requirements for the CSCS Green Labourer card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme). The OCNLR Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment provides an important foundation to health and safety for individuals working or intending to work within the construction industry. It covers risk assessment for maintaining and improving health and safety at work, working safely at height, safe manual handling, and safety in relation to working around plant and equipment.
