A group of our TST students recently took part in this year’s Jubilee Challenge, held alongside the famous Ten Tors event on Dartmoor. Designed for young people aged 14–21 with additional needs, the Jubilee Challenge offers tailored routes, giving every participant the opportunity to challenge themselves and achieve something meaningful.

After months of training in all weather conditions, our students developed teamwork, resilience, and confidence before taking on the demanding Dartmoor terrain. Thanks to a Moor Boots Grant from the Dartmoor Preservation Association, we were also able to provide essential walking boots and waterproofs for the event.

Starting and finishing at Okehampton Camp, the challenge is organised by Headquarters South West of the British Army, with support from the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, emergency services, and volunteers. We are incredibly proud of every student who took part and the determination they showed throughout this fantastic achievement.
