Transferable skills training (TST) is a further education and training centre specialising in teaching vocational skills to young people, TST was established in 2004 to work primarily with young people who have fallen outside mainstream education or training, offering SEN provision for 14-19 year olds alongside young adults with educational healthcare plans (EHCP) up to the age of 24.

Yes! We run entry level to level 3 courses, where you can gain an Award, Certificate or Diploma. Our awarding body is OCN London
There are no entry requirements for any of the courses, We assess learners on an individual basis through taster days, informal discussions and observations, and will make recommendations based on this. Please see our Referral process page for further details.
We run a minibus service from both Plymouth and Liskeard. More information regarding day to day life at TST can be found here.
We provide any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that you might need on your course including overalls, gloves, goggles and hard hats.
