MHAW 2026 Key message 4 updated

Just a reminder that this Wednesday we will be celebrating Pink Shirt Day as part of our work around anti-bullying and Mental Health Awareness Week.
Pink Shirt Day began after two students in Canada stood up for a younger learner who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Since then, wearing pink has become a symbol of kindness, inclusion, and standing up against bullying.
We would like to encourage all staff and learners to wear something pink on Wednesday to show support for being an upstander and creating a safe, respectful community for everyone. This could be a pink shirt, jumper, socks, accessories, or any small touch of pink.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing our college community come together to spread kindness and stand up to bullying.
