Two of our Group 6 students have recently begun their work experience placements at Great Trethew Trekking, and they’re already making a fantastic impression!

Now in their second week, they’ve shown great independence, a strong work ethic, and the ability to use their initiative.

Their daily tasks include mucking out four to five stables — which they complete confidently and independently, knowing exactly where to find the tools and muck heap. They’ve also learned to communicate directly with the Great Trethew team about their lunch and break times, helping them build confidence and workplace skills.
