Week 3 of the #10Xchallenge has seen our groups developing and working as a team to achieve their goals.

If anyone is interested in buying any of the TST enterprise products, please contact Jenny German (email: jenny@transferableskillstraining.com). An order form will be sent home with learners for any parents interested in buying the TST learner’s creations. We also have a sale planned at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd April- more details on that to follow.

After calculating expenses and pricing for profit, Group 2’s teacher, Andrea, taught them to calculate profit as a percentage. They then began preparing their pallets for sanding and assembling Pallet Easter Bunnies.

Group 4 are upcycling old furniture by painting a chest of drawers and bedside table black to create a matching set, which will be enhanced with gold paint and art nouveau wallpaper. They are also crafting Easter plaques from wood, cutting and sanding them for decoration.

Groups 5 and 6 started creating their enterprise products this week. Group 5 are making bracelets, Easter cards, and baskets, with members busy crafting bracelets and pebble painting for baskets. They also designed a sales poster for their stall at St. Mary’s Church in Callington. The girls enjoyed their creative lessons and will continue making bracelets and assembling baskets next week.
